Since early childhood the human body has fascinated me. My father is a doctor and discussions about medicine and science were commonplace in our house. This piqued my curiosity about the body’s innate ability to heal, and from an early age I chose to incorporate natural approaches into my own healthcare.

Following college, I spent several years working for non-profit organizations and traveling. After giving birth to my son I made the wonderful choice to attend massage school. Helping people enjoy their bodies and their lives more fully is so satisfying.

In early 2006 I suffered a back injury, leaving me potentially disabled for life. Healing from this injury took research, perseverance and hard work. Two years later I happily completed a sprint-length triathlon. I am convinced that we have the capacity to live rich, fulfilling lives when we learn to take responsibility for our own health. Our daily lifestyle choices profoundly influence our wellbeing. That’s why I became trained as a health counselor.

Many of my clients first come to me in pain or plagued by unpleasant symptoms. Through massage, yoga and health counseling they learn what it takes to feel their personal best. Once empowered this way, a permanent transformation takes place. Seeing this happened inspires me again and again.

I love my work.

Willow enjoys spending time with her family, sailing, gardening and dancing. She is passionate about helping others feel their best and about shifting our culture toward a more creative and sustainable way of life.
